December 6, 2005 ~ Information has been posted under Competition regarding the new Speed Event Groups/Classes for the C5s, C5-Z06s, C6s and C6-Z06s. These changes are in effect starting with the 2006 Competition year.

The Web Site Officer E-mail Links will also not be functioning during this time period. October 28, 2005 ~ The NCCC Membership Dues 51% Worksheet Forms page has been updated to include a Short Version Worksheet to assist Governors who may not need to use the Full Version.

October 6, 2005 ~ The Membership Committee has prepared a Guideline for NCCC Governors Booklet. It is linked twice on the NCCC Web Site Home Page. All Governors are encouraged to read it and keep a copy for reference.

October 4, 2005 ~ The 2006 Membership Dues Renewal Packets were mailed to all of the NCCC Club Governors on October 3, 2005. Governors ~ please be on the look out for them. They are in a brown envelope with a bright sticker in the lower left hand corner that says "NCCC 2006 Dues Renewal". Please e-mail Bob Bowen, Vice-President of Membership if you do not receive yours.

September 26, 2005 ~ The Ballots for the Election of 2006-2007 NCCC Officers and the 2007 Convention site were mailed to each NCCC Club Governor on September 25, 2005. Please e-mail Carolyn Montgomery, NCCC Secretary if you do not receive yours. Return Ballots must be post marked no later than October 26, 2005. Please return them early.

September 24, 2005 ~ Mid America Motorworks is offering free Exhibitor Space at their “Get Your Winter Project Parts” Swapfest, Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005 in exchange for advertising the Swapfest in a Club Newsletter or on a Club Web Site.

September 12, 2005 ~ The NCCC Web Site Home Page now has a link to a Page created to post information about the Katrina Hurricane Disaster Relief effort and how NCCC Members and NCCC Member Clubs have answered the call. There is also information regarding Organizations that Members are aware of that are looking for assistance in their relief efforts.

August 31, 2005 ~ The Sheraton Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, MO is hosting a Reception for NCCC from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on September 10th following the Governors Meeting. The Reception is to show the Sheraton's appreciation for the selection of the Sheraton Plaza Hotel as the meeting site for the 2007 - 2009 Governors Meetings.

August 30, 2005 ~ Reminders **Blue Bars Deadline for the Convention Issue is September 1, 2005. **Your Elected Officer Nomination Form  is due before September 10, 2005. Positions for election this year are Secretary, Sergeant-at-Arms, Vice-President of Competition and Business Manager for 2006-2007.

August 26, 2005 ~ The July 24, 2005 Governors Meeting Minutes were e-mailed or snail-mailed to all Governors and Officers. Please e-mail Carolyn Montgomery, NCCC Secretary if you do not receive your copy.  An Abridged Version has been posted to this NCCC Web Site and will appear in the next issue of Blue Bars. The Abridged Version is the only version that may be linked to any Region or Club Web Site.

July 21, 2005 ~ **NEWS FLASH! Information has been presented that there is Major Construction on I-94 on the Northwest side of Minneapolis starting at Hwy 101 at Rogers. See the Maps on the Convention site. You should be able to see where to take I-35W North off of I-694 West to connect with Highway 10 if are heading West on I-694. If you are coming up I-35, take I-35W all the way North to connect with Highway 10. Take Hwy 10 into St. Cloud. On the second Map you should be able to see how to get through St. Cloud to the Holiday Inn.

May 17, 2005 ~ Posted the NCCC 2005 Club Web Site Contest Rules, Guidelines & Entry Procedure to the Home Page. Entry deadline is June 15, 2005. Many NCCC Clubs have obtained a domain name and rely on a Club Webmaster to maintain a Web Site for their Membership and other Visitors. These Club Websites, along with the Region Websites and the NCCC Website have become valuable tools for the NCCC organization and its Members. Therefore, 2005 is the Inaugural Year for the NCCC Club Web Site Contest to honor the efforts put forth by these Clubs to promote their Club, their Region and NCCC. Winners will be announced and Awards presented at the 2005 NCCC Convention.

April 27, 2005 ~  On May 20 - May 22, 2005, NCCC and the National Corvette Museum are Co-Hosting the Chevy presents Corvette Corral at Mid-Ohio for the benefit of the National Corvette Museum. The Corral will be part of the American LeMans Series race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.  There will be three days of non-stop racing excitement as Corvette enthusiasts with a passion for racing come together to support the C6.R Corvette Racing Team as they take on the hotly contested GT1 field. Get Ticket Information Tickets must be ordered through Mid-Ohio.  The Corral package will give you the best parking spot for all of the activities and much more.
