Willie and Tom Nagle of Corvettes of Temecula Valley in the West Coast Region,
drove their Silver Pearl 1966 Corvette to Corvettes at Carlisle in Pennsylvania on August 25-27, 2005.
Corvettes at Carlisle was the largest Corvette event of 2005 with more than 60,000 people in attendance.The Nagles won a special Celebrity Pick award which was given to them by Dave Hill (shown in the middle) Corvette Chief Engineer. This award was originally established by Arkus Zora Duntov. Mr. Hill said of their car " It was skillfully updated in all the right ways." Tom and Willie immensely enjoyed their trip. |

Hello from Buffalo!The Corvettes of Buffalo in the Northeast Region held a Brunch Run event in Niagara County in 2005. The 70 plus Corvettes were Police escorted safely through the Niagara County countryside before enjoying a catered brunch at their sponsor's dealership. All had plenty of food & fun, including the friendly Police Officers! In 2006, the Brunch Run will also include a cruise through Niagara Falls, NY to view the Falls from their Corvettes! Elizabeth Antos of Flint Corvette Club of the Michigan Region drove her 2004 Commemorative Corvette to Convention 2004 in Las Vegas. At times it was like driving through the middle of nowhere. The picture on the left was along the road...somewhere near Moab, Utah! |
Kathy Hedges of Corvettes of Temecula Valley of the West Coast Region wants us to enjoy this terrific picture. The Corvettes are lining up for the cruise around Big Bear Lake on June 25, 2005. The Cruise is part of the "Big Bear Bash" hosted by Corvettes West of the West Coast Region. The weekend long event (2005 was the 23rd year) drew approximately 400 cars, mostly from California and Arizona. The event includes an NCCC Car Show, Autocross and Gimmick Rallye/Poker Run as well as a Golf Tournament and Volleyball Tournament. |

Twice as much fun !! 1998 Custom Coupe and 1995 Indy Pace Car owned by Bob Kirsch. Bob is from the East Ohio Region and a member of Corvette Cleveland. His '98 coupe is powered by a Magnacharger supercharger and was built for "waxing" by the folks at American Custom Industries in Sylvania, Ohio. This year's addition to the stable is a '95 Indy Pace Car, which is actually Indy 500 Event car # 137, with only 11,000 miles on it! Naturally his favorite events are Concoursing and Car shows, and he does very well at them. This year's big accomplishment was being chosen as a "Celebrity Judge's" choice at the Mid America Fun Fest. |
Joe Reese, Southwest Region RCD and 2004 Southwest Region Champion in his 1996 Grand Sport at Texas Motor Speedway. #023 out of 1,000, this Grand Sport has 128,500.00 miles. |
This is Dick DeSocio, DestiNY Corvette Club President, with his recently acquired Group III C3 at the Spooktacular High Speed Event at Summit Point this fall. And, he stayed on the track for most of the events but did go lawn sailing a couple of times. |
